About Ekhaya
Rooted in community. Connected across borders.
A Black African women-led charitable organisation creating space for skills, confidence, enterprise, wellbeing and recognition.

Our story
Ekhaya means home
The organisation’s earlier banner carries a clear ambition: building skills centres across Africa and empowering young people and the community.
Ekhaya’s work brings that idea of home into public life—a supportive place where people can exchange knowledge, explore enterprise, strengthen wellbeing, express culture and build a more sustainable future.
Its UK base and Zimbabwean community links create a bridge between local experience and diaspora support. Full history, leadership profiles and governance details remain to be confirmed by the organisation.
